Brief course description: In this 16 hour course students will learn how to assess, stabilize, and treat various medical emergencies that can occur in the remote settings we find ourselves in. Students develop skills through scenarios designed to encourage teamwork and communication. All students who successfully complete the course and pass the final test and scenario receive a Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid certification.
