Hello Healing Waters Volunteers, Family, Friends, Clients, Participants & Donors!
Healing Waters needs YOUR help to inventory, clean, repair, label, and organize our kitchen supplies, camping equipment, and rafting equipment in order to open up our camp for the 2024 season!
We need help with...
1) labeling, cleaning & inventory of river gear & organizing shed
2) repairing, cleaning & inventory of camping gear
3) cleaning, organizing & inventory of kitchen pantry
WEEKEND AGENDA:
Saturday, April 27th – “Many Hands Make Light Work!”
The work party will be at our campsite (Hogan’s North) in Camp Lotus. We'll start work around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. We'll have breakfast snacks & hot beverages at 8am, lunch around 1 p.m. and finish work in time to have dinner in Placerville at 6pm
Dinner will be in Placerville, California at Hong Kong Inn Chinese Restaurant.
Sunday, April 28th – “Then on the second day, we went rafting.”
We'll raft the Chili Bar section of the SFAR weather permitting. All volunteers, guides, cooks & trip hosts, friends, donors are welcome to join us!
We really need Camp Hosts, Camp Cooks & Raft Guides to help pull this Work Party off to help us have our camp ready for the 2024 season!
Come for a portion or all of the weekend!
Getting there …
We'll have vehicles leaving Saturday morning for those who need a ride. We'll also collect data on those driving so we can arrange carpools for you if needed.
Bring a friend who's willing to help that may be interested in becoming a new HW Volunteer!
