Low-income Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and recent immigrant students from the Bay Area will participate in a week-long science education and leadership development camp along the Klamath River and California coast. During this immersive experience, students will explore the water cycle from the mountains to the coast, fostering a deep and personal connection to nature. At the end of the camp, participants will have the opportunity to train as river guides and join the volunteer staff of Healing Waters Wilderness Adventures.
